Statistics tell us that the number of children in need in South Carolina is as great as ever. Caring for children in need is a 24-hour, 7-day a week operation that requires a steady stream of funds. Since Calvary Home for Children is privately funded, we rely on individuals, churches, businesses, corporations, and service organizations to partner with us as we serve children.

Ever wonder what caring for each child costs?
Annually: $10,000 per child
Monthly: $833 per child
Weekly: $192.50 per child
Daily: $27.50 per child
(Approximate costs for housing, food, clothing, transportation, house parents, etc.)

Calvary Home for Children is privately funded. We receive minimal government assistance when we have resident children in our care who are in custody of the South Carolina Department of Social Services. We operate through the generosity of individuals, businesses, churches, foundations, and civic organizations. Many groups have benefits for Calvary Home and many individuals make contributions in memory or honor of loved ones. All contributions are tax deductible according to applicable federal laws for charitable contributions.

Will you support our children so that the ministry of Calvary Home can continue?
One child, one day per month: $27.50 monthly gift
One child, two days per month: $55 monthly gift
One child, one day each week: $110 monthly gift

Investing in Calvary Home for Children will provide a lifetime of returns through the lives of the children who find love, shelter, and genuine care in this children's home.

Testimonials

"There is a critical shortage of facilities to care for children whose families have been fractured by abuse, neglect, abandonment or other problems. A place like Calvary Home for Children will provide a temporary home for those children at risk while their families try to rebuild."
