We’re neither! Calvary Home is a foster care community, so we’re more like a neighborhood of foster families.

Each of our foster families has their license through a foster care licensing agency. Calvary Home provides a community where like-minded families live to give the best to the foster children in their care.

Due to limited storage space on campus, we no longer accept used clothing, toys or furniture. However, we still accept household supplies, food donations, and other family-requested items you can find on our Amazon list. For more details, visit our Campus Support page.

Each of our children has a case plan with DSS. We serve as the mom and dad in the middle until the children are able to go home to a healthy family. If the court rules that the child can not safely return home, that child will be eligible for adoption. If you’re interested in adopting a child, we encourage you to contact Region One Adoptions at 864-282-4730.

Each of our foster families has preferences for the ages of the children in their homes, so it varies. Calvary Home has cared for children of all ethnicities, ages, beliefs, and genders. Children ages 0-21 are welcome!

Of course! You probably won’t see many kids on campus during office hours (because all school-age children attend school), but if you would like to get a private tour, please email Laura to get it scheduled.

Yes! We offer several intern opportunities throughout the year. These positions revolve around our tutoring program, our ministry team, and our foster families’ day-to-day lives. Check out this page for more details.
