The Hardships
of Fostering
Workshop Time: 2:00–2:30pm
We will examine the impact of foster care policies on children’s well-being, stability, and long-term outcomes. Participants will discuss how legislation, funding, and system practices influence the experiences of children in care specifically regarding with the child’s education.
Workshop Time: 10:30–11:00am
We will examine the challenges faced by
foster parents and children within the foster care system. Participants will explore barriers such as placement instability, limited resources, emotional strain, and the need for stronger community and governmental support.
