Making Room at the Table: A Message of Hope and Home
In every home, the kitchen table is more than just a place to eat—it’s a symbol of belonging, connection, and love. It’s where birthdays are celebrated, homework is done, stories are shared, and comfort is found. For many of us, it’s easy to take that seat at the table for granted. But for countless abused and neglected children in foster care, that place doesn’t exist.
Here at Calvary Home, our mission is to provide help, hope, and home to children who have endured unthinkable hardship. Each day, we work to ensure that these children are not forgotten—that they are not left out, left behind, or left in the shadows. We strive to make room at the table for every child who needs a safe place to heal, grow, and be loved.
Because of you—our donors, volunteers, and community partners—this mission comes to life. Every gift you give helps us:
Offer safe and nurturing foster homes where children can begin to trust again.
Provide therapeutic support that helps them heal from trauma.
Create opportunities for education and activities, ensuring a brighter future.
Remind each child that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved.
As we look ahead, we are reminded that making room at the table is not just a metaphor—it’s a call to action. There is always space for one more. One more child to reach. One more heart to heal. One more life to transform.
We are deeply grateful for your compassion and commitment. You make it possible to pull up another chair, set another place, and say to a child in need: You are welcome here.
