A Story of Hope, Love, and New Beginnings

This past month, a powerful moment reminded us why your support is so vital to our mission.

Late one evening, we welcomed a sibling group of five children into our foster care community. These children arrived under heartbreaking circumstances—and without speaking a word of English. As you can imagine, the sudden move to a completely unfamiliar environment left them feeling afraid, overwhelmed, and uncertain about what would come next.

But because of this caring community—and because of donors like you—these children were not alone for long.

One of our dedicated foster families immediately opened their hearts and their home to the three youngest siblings. Despite the language barrier and emotional weight of the moment, this family wrapped the children in comfort and reassurance, giving them the safety and stability they so desperately needed.

Just a few days later, on a quiet Sunday afternoon, another family within our campus foster neighborhood stepped up to welcome the two older siblings. As the older children stepped out of the car and caught sight of their younger brothers and sister playing in the front yard, everything else seemed to fade away. They ran to one another and embraced—tears flowing, smiles overcoming fear. It was a reunion full of raw, unfiltered emotion. A moment of hope in the midst of heartache.

Moments like this are not just touching—they are transformative. They reflect the very heart of our mission: to provide help, hope, and home to abused and neglected children. And at the center of that mission is the commitment to keeping siblings together whenever possible. For children who have lost so much, staying connected to one another can be a lifeline—an anchor in the storm.

This story would not be possible without you. Your generosity helps create a neighborhood of foster families who are ready to respond, to welcome, and to love—at a moment’s notice. You help make it possible for children to heal, to be seen, and to begin writing a new story—one rooted in safety, connection, and belonging.

Thank you for standing with us, and with children like these, every step of the way.
