New Year, Same Mission
As we step into a new year, we do so with fresh calendars, renewed energy, and hopeful prayers. Yet some things remain beautifully unchanged: God’s heart for children and our calling to care for His children from hard places.
Over the past year, we have seen God moving in ways both quiet and powerful. We have seen Him at work in the “yes” of a foster parent who opened their home despite fear and uncertainty. We have seen Him in the resilience of children learning to trust again after experiencing loss and trauma. We have seen Him in late-night phone calls answered, meals delivered, prayers spoken, and tears shared. None of this is accidental. It is the faithful movement of a God who sees, knows, and deeply loves every child.
Scripture reminds us that God sets the lonely in families (Psalm 68:6). In foster care ministry, this promise becomes tangible. It looks like children finding safety, advocates standing in the gap, and communities rallying together to reflect the love of Christ. It looks like imperfect people saying ‘yes’ to God’s perfect compassion.
A new year often brings change, but our mission remains the same. We are still called to love boldly, serve faithfully, and walk alongside children and families navigating some of life’s hardest roads. The needs are still great. Children are still entering foster care. Families still need support. And God is still inviting His people to be His hands and feet.
“God sets the lonely in families, he leads out the prisoners with singing; but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.”
As we look ahead, we do so with expectation. We believe God will continue to move, opening doors, providing resources, and strengthening hearts. We trust that He will equip every foster parent, volunteer, donor, and prayer partner for the work He has prepared. This ministry has never been about numbers or programs alone; it has always been about obedience and love.
Thank you for being part of this mission. Whether you give financially, pray consistently, or encourage others, your faithfulness matters. Every act of obedience helps write a story of hope in a child’s life.
This year, may we keep our eyes open to see God moving, even in the small moments. May we remain anchored in the truth that the same God who carried us through last year is already at work in the days ahead. And may we continue, together, to care for His children from hard places.
